I am Henrich Zelinka, the blacksmith and artist behind Steel Canvas. My work is a balance between two worlds. On one side is my personal collection—a deep exploration of the universal feelings and challenges we all navigate throughout our lives. On the other is my collaborative work, where I use my hands and my forge to help others translate their own stories into the enduring strength of iron.
My Mission: Art with a Voice
My mission is to create art that doesn’t just occupy a room, but actually speaks to it. I believe every strike of the hammer should have a purpose and every finished piece should carry a soul.
Sharing the Human Experience: In my personal work, I strive for radical honesty. Life is a series of phases—growth, struggle, and everything in between. I use fire and steel to give these invisible feelings a physical form, creating pieces that I hope make the viewer feel understood.
