Story behind the artwork

"For me, the beauty of autumn lies in the transition. After a hectic summer, a season arrives that moves me deeply with its vibrant palette. I watch as it paints the landscape day by day, noticing the visual shift during a simple walk in nature or even on my daily commute. I love observing how the colors begin subtly at the start of the season and slowly evolve into the magnificent, deep hues of late autumn."

"This piece was created to express that very impression—the mood of an autumn day. To bring it to life, I used my signature method: firing oil onto a stainless steel sheet in an open flame, followed by layers of traditional oil paint. Rather than using a reference photo or a specific model, I worked entirely from feeling and abstraction. As I’ve mentioned before, I truly relish this process—letting my emotions guide the work."

"Just as nature creates infinite variations of color and composition, I believe the themes of autumn are limitless. My hope for the future is to find even more time during these months to create, so I can capture every fleeting emotion this beautiful season offers."
