UK Opportunity: Swan Draw Dock Public Art Commission

The Project: > Hammersmith & Fulham Council, in partnership with the Environment Agency, is seeking a UK-based artist or blacksmith to design a bespoke metalwork panel and gate for Swan Draw Dock in Fulham. This is a permanent installation integrated into new flood defense improvements.

The Design Brief: > The work should respond to the site's unique location on the Thames, focusing on:

  • Heritage: The historic dock and river culture.

  • Biodiversity: The local ecology and the river's edge.

  • Community: Creating a sense of place for residents.

The Details:

  • Commission Fee: £5,000 (for the design phase).

  • Eligibility: UK-based artists with experience in public art or metalwork.

  • Deadline: Tuesday, 14 April 2026.
